Was a great success, with around 6,000 runners competing across all divisions.
25 Hawks competing across the various distances, with great results including 16 age grade podiums!
5 teams from the Hawks travelled across to compete in this fun event.
Another sunny and warm weekend for our final club event of the year – the Lake D Relay.
Some great running, and 3 x national medals as a result.
Overall we had 9 Hawks take age grade podiums!
What a great day we had at our club Road Champs alongside Mangaharakeke Drive.
The running conditions were quite good for the 23 Hawks taking part.
unique two-person fun relay on a 5km course along The Cook course from Memorial Park.
16 Hawks competing across the divisions, and some great running saw 4 of them nab a national medal for their efforts.
Fun 8km handicap road race whereby each entrant has a starting time based on their estimated 5km time
It was great to see a good group of Hawks singlets out there with everyone enjoying the sun and some good hard running…
Tough handicap race over 4.4kms with ~270 m elevation
A number of members (past and present) travelled over to Tokoroa
We had ~20 Hawks travel down to compete
A good group of around 30 runners out at the always popular relay event
Around 24 Hawks running, along with many more family members and friends/supporters in attendance.
