SUMMARY:Red Stag Redwoods Relay
DESCRIPTION:This relay is a great annual event for running and walking teams with a course that winds its way through the iconic Redwood Forest. It is an event that is looked forward to by all and well represented by running clubs coming from as far as Hawera and Auckland. \nThe relay is open to running and walking teams from athletic clubs\, schools\, corporate and social teams over a distance of 5km per team member for the adult teams\, and 3.2km for the youth teams. The event is based by the Redwoods Visitor Centre\, Long Mile Road\, Rotorua and is run or walked through the iconic and beautiful Redwoods and adjacent forest nursery area. \nEntry Details:\nPlease have Names and Grades of members wishing to run this FUN EVENT.   Send to racesecretary@hamiltoncityhawks.co.nz \nNO LATER THAN 31st of August in order for me to organise relay teams in time. Entry is FREE to Hawks members. \nDistances:\nYouth Sections – 4 x 3000 met\nOther Sections – 5 x 5000 met \nPrize Categories\n1st in: Men’s Open; Women’s Open; Masters’ Men; Masters’ Women;\nMale Youth; Female Youth; Walkers and Composite/Corporate Sections \nSpot Prizes: A range of spot prizes to be won by teams and individuals \nAfter Race Awards\nTo be held outside the Redwoods Visitor Centre and I-site at the completion of the Relays
