SUMMARY:Te Awamutu Golf Course Run
DESCRIPTION:There is a 3km event for school aged children\, a 6km walk/run open to everyone\, and a 12km run. Golf course with undulating\, short grass\, also suitable for spikes.  Racing starts at 9:30am with the prize giving scheduled for 11:20am. Barbecue sausages\, hamburgers and refreshments will be available. Te Awamutu Athletics is a successful children’s and young adult’s club who set this event up to help them with national and international travel. \nCheck official website for latest details: www.sportsground.co.nz/teawamutuathletics \nEvents:\n3k School Students Run – $7\n3k Walk\, 6k Run/Walk (1 or 2 laps) – $20\n9k Run (3 laps) – $20\n4 Person 12k  Relay (one 3k lap each) – $50 \n***Maximum Time To Complete is 1hr 45mins*** \nEntries: Close 19 April 2017. Late entries will incur an extra $5 charge. \nAffiliated Athletics NZ athletes in Club Singlets entering the 6k or 12k events receive a $5 discount\, ie. Entry Fee $15. \nRunning Surface: Superb – undulating\, short grass\, suitable for Spikes. A good test! \nPrizegiving: To be held in the Golf Clubhouse at 11.20am. The course and carpark are to be cleared by 11.50am to allow Golf Club Members access for a 12 O’Clock tee off. \nYou must be present to receive your spot prize. \nParking: Some parking will be available in the Golf Course carpark off Kihikihi Road. Parking is also available on the grass verge on Golf and McGhie Roads\, and if needed on the main road but we suggest you avoid this.
