DESCRIPTION:Taking in some of Hamilton’s best known landmarks\, the 12km and 6km courses include the scenic Waikato River paths and the iconic Hamilton bridges. Kids event 2km. \nRound the Bridges is one of the oldest annually contested events in New Zealand. The event began in 1945 (at the end of WWII) when the Hamilton Harrier Club established a road running race to enable Hamilton residents to witness top New Zealand athletes in action. \nCheck out official website at: www.roundthebridges.co.nz\nHawks runners join the Hamilton City Hawks group when you register for the event.
