This relay is a great annual event for running and walking teams with a course that winds its way through the iconic Redwood Forest.  It is an event that is looked forward to by all and well represented by running clubs coming from as far as Hawera and Auckland.

The relay is open to running and walking teams from athletic clubs, schools, corporate and social teams over a distance of 5km per team member for the adult teams, and 3.2km for the youth teams. The event is based by the Redwoods Visitor Centre, Long Mile Road, Rotorua and is run or walked through the iconic and beautiful Redwoods and adjacent forest nursery area.

There is a range of team and individual spot prizes to be won.
