Sing Relay

Saturday, April 9, 2016 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

The Sing Relay is a unique two person fun relay on a 5km course and run in the “Helen Hall-King’s race format from the club rooms.  Both team members start together. However, the faster runner runs ahead to the half way point and then turns around to meet their other runner. At the point of meeting, both runners turn around and run back to finish line the exact way they have just run. The team that takes top honours is the team that has both runners home first.

This is a relay for all abilities and is loads of fun. You will either run less or more than 5km depending on your ability and that of your team member.

Doors to the club rooms open at 1.00pm with teams picked at 1.30 and the race starting at 1.50pm.

Suitable for all ages. Last years winners were Ben Wild (an under 10) and Dion Hardy (an over 40)

Come and have fun, and bring a small something as a contribution towards afternoon tea.
Look forward to seeing you there!
