For the many of you who have been to the Central Plateau area, you will agree that it is full of off-road delights and is one of the most magical and unique places in NZ. Based around the famous and iconic 42 Traverse track, the T42 Central Plateau offers the following event options;
- 48km Mountain Bike
- 42.2km Trail Marathon Run
- 24km Trail Adventure Run / Walk
- 11km Trail Run / Walk
- 6.5km Trail Run / Walk
The 42 Traverse is a historic logging road – undulating (but overall, more down than up) with a few (but not many) technical bits and a handful of short river crossings. In summary… it’s awesome! The event will finish (along with all of the other event options) in the Owhango township Domain where there will be all sorts of good stuff going on!
