Whangamata Half Marathon

Saturday, September 10, 2016

With the half marathon (21km), the 10km and 5km events, the Whangamata Run Walk Festival offers something for participants of all ages and abilities. All three courses take in spectacular views of ocean beach & pristine bush-clad hills along the way. Enter individually, with friends and family, or gather a team together.

The Half Marathon starts with a town circuit, then out on to SH25 with a turn around 1km north of Top Pub and back to town again. The 5K is a flat course around the town streets. The 10K is partly around town and also out on SH25. It starts and ends at the Whangamata Area School, Port Road, Whangamata.

Registration is now open for the Whangamata Half Marathon, 10 kilometre and 5 kilometre races.
All entrants have the opportunity of winning the general spot prizes provided their race number is returned at the finish line.

Entry for school students is $20 for the half marathon and $10 for the 5km and 10km events.
