This years Lugtons Round The Bridges was a great success, with around 6,000 runners competing across all divisions in superb weather conditions (although some said it was a little too hot!)

We had around ~60 past and present Hawks competing which was fantastic to see. Some great results too with Hawks taking the overall wins in both the Men’s and Women’s 12k events, and Hawks 1st & 2nd in the Women’s 6k event. In the 2k kids race we also had the Stirling brothers once again the fastest two home overall, with a total of 5 making the podiums in their respective kids grades!

In fact for age grade results we had 20 Hawks making the age grade podiums – awesome work from all competing!

And a massive THANK YOU to all those who volunteered their time to help out both with the organising of the event and on the weekend – many HAWKS gave up a considerable amount of time over the weekend to make sure the event was setup well and went off without a hitch. Without this selfless help these events could not go ahead….so THANK YOU…!
