National Cross Country Champs 2015 Results
Hamilton City Hawks at National cross country Christchurch: The Halswell Quarry course for nationals provided quite a dry surface for a midwinter race. Hawks runners scored three medals. Harry Ewing M20 ran exceptionally well to win a silver medal just 5 seconds off gold. He clocked 25.28 for 8km. John Crane M50 also won silver with his 28.11 for 8km in the Masters race. Charli Miller won bronze with her 10.41 over 3km in the G15 grade. In the W18 4km Emerson Deverell edged up to 3rd at the top of the last hill but in the fast downhill to the finish slipped back to a close 5th in 14.42 just 4 sends off 4th. Mum Bridget made it a family double with her 5th in the W45 6km. with 25.07. Ariana Lord was 8th in the W20 6km picking up a silver in the teams race where the WBOP team finished second.
