Starting (and finishing) at the Horsham Downs hall, the Sweeney Cup club event is a fun 8km handicap road race whereby each entrant has a starting time based on their estimated 5km time. The person who finishes closest to their estimated time wins – Don’t over or under estimate your time though, Mr Dudfield has a secret handicap cut off…! The clock counts down and you start as the clock reaches your estimated race time, with the slowest starting first.
