This year the event will be held at Halswell Quarry Park, Christchurch. Halswell is located approximately 15km south of Christchurch City Centre. This is a fun cross country event where runners are divided into mixed teams and must all run together. One runner drops off each lap.
The event involves the traditional Half Marathon distance of 21.1km which is officially measured and certified under ANZ standards. There is also a 10km, 5km and RUN kids 2km for Under 16 year olds. All events have the option of either a Run or Walk.
This will again be run in a School of Origin format (with teams based on what high school you did or do attend), and welcomes all secondary school athletes as well as members.
