This year the event will be held at Halswell Quarry Park, Christchurch. Halswell is located approximately 15km south of Christchurch City Centre. The inaugural Queenstown Mountain Run incorporating the New Zealand Mountain Running Championships takes place on Ben Lomond in the heart of Queenstown.

The NZ Cross Country champs are being held at Auckland Domain this year.

The second edition of the Queenstown Mountain Run incorporating the New Zealand Mountain Running Championships takes place once again on Ben Lomond in the heart of Queenstown. Three course options offer challenges for ages and abilities.
