    The Sing Relay is a unique two person fun relay on a 5km course and run in the "Helen Hall-King's race format from the club rooms. This is a relay for all abilities and is loads of fun. You will either run less or more than 5km depending on your ability and that of your team member.

    Te Awamutu Golf Club Kihikihi Rd, Te Awamutu, New Zealand

    There is a 3.3km event for school aged children, a 6km walk/run open to everyone, and a 12km run solely for adults. Golf course with undulating, short grass, also suitable for spikes.

    Cross country relay held at Narrows Christian Camp, Hamilton. Race distance will be approximately 3.3km for each leg over varied and undulating terrain.

  • Tauranga Cross Country

    Waipuna Park Kaitemako Road, Welcome Bay, Tauranga

    Tauranga Ramblers club puts on this very well-organised event annually.  It's on an excellent running surface and clubs gather from the Waikato Bay of Plenty to compete.

  • Gilchrist Rose Bowl School of Origin XC

    Hawks Road and XC Clubrooms Hamilton City Hawks Grantham Street, Hamilton

    This will again be run in a School of Origin format (with teams based on what high school you did or do attend), and welcomes all secondary school athletes as well as members.

  • Club Cross Country Champs

    Minogue Park Minogue Park, Forest Lake, Hamilton

    It is a challenging course with some hills and it can be wet and muddy. Suits Spikes or Trail shoes (or bare feet for the brave).

  • North Island Cross Country Champs

    Spa Thermal Park Spa Road, Taupo, New Zealand

    This is a great annual event, even for those who are not that comfortable running cross country, as it covers rolling park-like grounds and is well drained underfoot.

  • Hawks Relay at Taitua Arboretum

    Taitua Arboretum Taitua Rd, Hamilton, New Zealand

    The race is approximately a 3km all gravel loop of the Taitua Arboretum. Hope to have a traditional relay format, depending on numbers.

    Horsham Downs 6 Martin Lane, Hamilton

    This is a very popular event on the Hawks calendar and brings in many who haven’t attended the earlier cross country races. Handicap Road Race whereby each entrant has a starting time based on their estimated 5km time.

  • The Dudfield 3km Time Trial

    The Matamata relay isn't on this year but the Dudfield 3km time trial is.

  • Huntly Half Marathon

    Huntly Rugby Park Huntly Rugby Park, Huntly, Waikato, New Zealand

    The event involves the traditional Half Marathon distance of 21.1km which is officially measured and certified under ANZ standards. There is also a 10km, 5km and RUN kids 2km for Under 16 year olds. All events have the option of either a Run or Walk.

    The 53rd Lion Foundation Rotorua Marathon is set for Saturday 6 May 2017 along with the Half & Quarter Marathons and 5.5km Fun Run

    Reduction relay is a fun cross country event where runners were divided into mixed teams and must all run together. One runner drops off each lap.

  • Waiwhakareke Random Relay

    Waiwhakareke Natural Heritage Park Baverstock, Hamilton, New Zealand

    80% hard packed metal, 30% grass. Each team will two 5km legs and two 2.5km legs.

    Enjoy stunning views as you run or walk over some spectacular trails in and around Kinloch, Taupo.

    Sanitorum Hill, just outside of Cambridge is a great challenge for those that love racing hills. Distances: 4.8km for full race and 2km for 12 and under. Typically both races are handicapped starts.
