The Sing Relay is a unique two person fun relay on a 5km course and run in the "Helen Hall-King's race format from the club rooms. This is a relay for all abilities and is loads of fun. You will either run less or more than 5km depending on your ability and that of your team member.
There is a 3.3km event for school aged children, a 6km walk/run open to everyone, and a 12km run solely for adults. Golf course with undulating, short grass, also suitable for spikes.
The Great Cranleigh Kauri Run comprises of a series of off road trail runs or walks which take place on the stunningly beautiful Northern Coromandel Peninsula.

Inspired by the 1974 Commonwealth Games marathon, the Christchurch Airport Marathon event is renowned as one of the fastest courses in the world. But it is also one of the most scenic and supportive. With a Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k & Kids' Mara'Fun, there is something for everyone.
A 46km, 25km or 17km off-road run based around Rainbow Mountain, Rotorua.
This will again be run in a School of Origin format (with teams based on what high school you did or do attend), and welcomes all secondary school athletes as well as members.
It is a challenging course with some hills and it can be wet and muddy. Suits Spikes or Trail shoes (or bare feet for the brave).
This is a great annual event, even for those who are not that comfortable running cross country, as it covers rolling park-like grounds and is well drained underfoot.
Sanitorum Hill, just outside of Cambridge is a great challenge for those that love racing hills. Distances: 4.8km for full race and 2km for 12 and under. Typically both races are handicapped starts.
The venue for the 2016 Waikato-Bay of Plenty Cross Country Championships will be Spa Park Taupo.
The race is approximately a 3km all gravel loop of the Taitua Arboretum. Hope to have a traditional relay format, depending on numbers.
This is a very popular event on the Hawks calendar and brings in many who haven’t attended the earlier cross country races. Handicap Road Race whereby each entrant has a starting time based on their estimated 5km time.
The NZ Cross Country champs are being held at Auckland Domain this year.
The Matamata relay isn't on this year but the Dudfield 3km time trial is.
Sarah Murphy is organizing a Race / Fun run up the Hakarimatas Stairs and is going to be a fundraising event for this years National Road Relay Team.

The Cambridge Half Marathon, 10km and 5km is an annual running and walking event at Cambridge High School.

The Whangamata Run/Walk Festival has Half Marathon, 10km and 5km events. All three courses take in spectacular views of ocean beach & pristine bush-clad hills along the way. The Half Marathon starts with a town circuit, then out on to SH25 with a turn around 1km north of Top Pub and back to town again. The 5K is a flat course around the town streets. The 10K is partly around town and also out on SH25. It starts and ends at the Whangamata Area School, Port Road, Whangamata.
This relay is a great annual event for running and walking teams with a course that winds its way through the iconic Redwood Forest. It is an event that is looked forward to by all and well represented by running clubs coming from as far as Hawera and Auckland.
